Gender and Sexual Minority in the cleanup campaign of Patan Durbar Square


Lalitpur (Pahichan) April 3 – Members of homosexual and transgender have participated in the cleanup campaign in Patan Durbar Square.

This is a part of Clean Kathmandu, Green Kathmandu, a campaign launched by Naya Shakti Nepal led by former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai. Wearing a mask, they participated in the cleanup campaign of Krishna Mandir and Bangalamukhi Temple.

Naya Shakti Nepal leader Hishila Yami praised the campaign of sexual and gender minority encouraging them to do more in coming days. Earlier, members of this community cleaned up  Pashupati Nath Temple and Baudha Stupa.
