Kathmandu (Pahichan) October 9 – Despite their talent, thousands of transgender were not in public light for the long time. Now, in business, fashion and modeling, members of this these communities are competing with male and female.
One burning example is Miss Pink Aniee Lama. She presented her show in the Hotel Annapurna. She is studying in the final semester of Diploma in National Institute of Fashion. “I was very nervous because this was the first time I was attending the program,” said Lama.
This has given self-confidence to her to win another award. She got the opportunity to know many things. “The program was very entertaining, all people liked this creativity. Other should also give priority to creativity and unique,” Lama added. “I learned a lot of useful things through this show,” she added.
She was advised to become role model by other participants saying that there are no other representatives from this community. Aniee aims to do online business and establish brand in the future. Her aim is to sell the clothes which would be affordable to all classes of society.
“I have a lot of ideas on designing. I am seeking the idea to work in a different way. I do not want to copy the ideas of foreign countries through you tube,” said Lama.
