Members of this community are gradually becoming self-reliant


Indira Neupane/Makawanpur (Pahichan) January 12 – Members of Sexual and Gender Minority are eager to receive vocational training to develop a capacity of self-sustaining. Rubel Sunuwar and Rubi Lama have started to receive Beauty Parlor training.

“Though there is not a good income in this sector, it will provide self-satisfaction,” they said. They also have a plan of empowering other people through such training.

Astar Bholan of Orange Beauty Parlor said, “In the last four years, I taught a lot of people. This will be my first experience.” Stakeholders have said that it is good that members of this community are enhancing their capacity.
