Police administration creating problems in my business: Lama

Kaski (Pahichan) September 10 – Transgender Meghana Lama has said that police administration is creating unnecessary trouble in operating her business. Lama shared her problem in the National Consultative Meeting organized by Blue Diamond Society in Pokhara. The two-day program witnessed extensive discussions on wide-range of issues of LGBTI among stakeholders.

According to her, due to the lack of knowledge among police personal that all people are equal such tendencies are prevalent in the society. The Tifani restaurant operated by Meghana is doing a good business which is also a source of inspiration to others.

“The inspiring stories shared here should be implemented. We should prefer to work as a farmer instead of working as sex worker in Kathmandu,” said Lama.

She thanked Blue Diamond Society for lending support. She also thanked advocate Sujan Pant for providing legal assistance for the purpose of registering the hotels. She requested to utilize the vocational training provided by BDS.
