Relief distributed to transgender


Kathmandu(Pahichan) June 12 -Save the Children, Red Cross Society and UNICEF have distributed tents and blankets to the homosexual and transgender who were affected from April 25 Earthquake. Save the Children has provided 35 tents and pius. Similarly, Red Cross has provided 15 tents and 50 blankets, according to Simron Sherchan, National Program Coordinator of of sexual and gender minorities’ federation.

 Similarly, UNICEF provided 50 blankets. Similarly, pius which is used to purify drinking water, some medicine, masks, and globe among others have been received by Blue Diamond Society.

The received materials were provided to Sirju Thapa, Akansha Timalsena, Anjali Sharma, Sophy Sunuwar, Bhumika Shrestha, Tirthaman Shrestha, Hani Maharjan, Natasa Shrestha, care and support, Suhila lama, Bagini, Raju Lamal, Halasta Shrestha, Mona Shrestha, Swastika lama, Radhika Lama, Siwani Mugureti, Muskan KC, Sital Gurung, Subas Mali, Bhawani Lamichhane, Maili Bhujel, Jayaram Koju, Dalchini Kali, Shekhar, Ajaya, Manoj Basnet, Purna Chandra, Raju Silwal, Krishna Prasad Neupane, Gauri Nepali and Kanchan Ghimire received tents and blankets.

Similarly, Roja, Krishna Meti, Dhurba Chalak, Shiva Meti, Niruta, Prince Lama, Rani Ghale, Nepti Lama, Kumar Budathokio, Surendra Maharjan, Dibya, Shankar Koirala, Balaram Ghimire, Karjon Kapali, Kailash Adhikari, Sunmaya Supari, Kali Ramu, Kabita, Sudeep Gautam, Jawalam and Trimurti received tents and blankets. Sherchan provided the relief materials.
