Student’s curiosity on LGBTI


Kathmandu (Pahichan) November 13 – Five students of Kathmandu Model College are currently in Blue Diamond Society for internship. They said it is easy to know about LGBTI and that is why they chose this organization. Speaking to Pahichan, they expressed their curiosity and query.

“I came here just to know about this community, we do not know in details,” student Mamata Bashyal said,” We are hopeful that we will return from here with sufficient knowledge.” She said all human beings should be equal. Another student Kripa Kattel also echoed the same.

“We have heard about this community as an outsider, we will try to know about this community,” said Bashyal . Another student Rajani Kafle said though they have known a lot of things about the rights, they want to know about the situation in Nepal.

Anamika Nepal said they are feeling a sort of strange.” Now, I am gradually knowing about this community, they are normal like other human beings,” Nepal said. Student Rojin Pakhrin said main purpose is to know the freedom and right of this community. He said they should be equal like other human beings.
