Support in UN Vote: BDS tells govt
Kathmandu (Pahichan) November 11 – Blue Diamond Society has demanded to support the demands of homosexual and transgender in the United Nations General Assembly.
Writing a letter to Foreign Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat, Chairman of BDS Pinky Gurung said as voting is taking place in UN they are seeking support. “As per our knowledge, there will be voting on November 11 regarding independent expert issues and government should instruct its permanent mission to attend the program and vote in favour of it,” She said.
The BDS also drew the attention of foreign ministers that constitution has addressed the demands of LGBTI.
