Kathmandu (Pahichan) July 8 – Chairman of Democratic Professors Association Jagat Timalsena said that like various kinds of trees in nature, there is diversity in the human beings and no one should be discriminated.
He further added that members of this community should not be discrimination on the basis of their gender identity. He compare the various trees saying that each has different and distinct values. He said members of this community should be provided equal opportunities.
He said if the issues of gender and sexual minority are incorporated in the school-level curricula, it would help to end discrimination. “There is a role of educated class, so our curricula needs to be amended,” he said. Timalsena said he is always ready to do research. He said TU and other universities could provide opportunities to professors to do research.
