Transgender rights activist Shilpa goes out of contact

Kathmandu (Pahichan) February 6 – Transgender rights activist Shilpa Chaudhary is out of contact since two days. Chaudhary who is working in Blue Diamond Society Dang chapter was recommended by UML local committee to list her under Proportional Representation in province.

 After she was excluded in the list of provincial assembly, UML leaders had assured her to recommend for National Assembly elections.  She is out of contact since February 3 after she attended a program of National Human Rights Commission. BDS Dang Chapter has registered an application at District Administration Office.

 Subas Pokhrel, a staff working at central office, informed that they have requested to find out the whereabouts of Chaudhary. Her mobile phone is switched off.
