Kathmandu (Pahichan) March 15 – Central Committee member of Rastriya Prajatantra party Sagun Sundar Lawoti has said that there is a need of complete inclusion for the overall development of the country. Speaking to pahichan, he said gender and sexual minority should be brought forward through the inclusive policy.
“For the overall development of the country, there should be the representation of margnalized community,” he said adding that there was concern in Amercia in a youth conference few years back . “When I was in Americe, people from the different countries asked me how it was possbile to ensure the representation of transgender in Parliament,” he said. “I told them that we are in the process of overall development of the country.”
He, however, said that reservation will not be contined for ever. He informed that Monica Shahi was genderal convention representative. Lawoti said only party Chairman can say about appointing Monica in the central committee. “Shahi was only one transgender representative in the convention. She was planning to fight for Central Committee member but withdrew later. Only party chairman can give answers about her appoitnment in Central Committee,” Lawoti said.
