Kathmandu (Pahichan) November 16 – National Center for AIDS and STD Control has said that it would provide treatment to HIV affected people within a week. The service was halted from the beginning of this fiscal year. Chairman of Blue Diamond Society Pinki Gurung said HIV affected people are facing difficulties due to the lack of service. Gurung said despite the repeated request Center was dilly-dallying to resume service.
Director of Center Dr. Dipendraman Sing said though government contribution has been halted they are preparing to resume service by donor support. He, however, claimed that Center has not stopped by service. “We will provide full fledge service within a week,” he said. Due to the lack of resources, people working there are denied from services.
