Accused were taken into custody by Nepal Police from Balambu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to trans-women Maya Chaudhari and Sharmila Chaudhari they sought lift with truck drivers, Raju Pariyar and Bharat Manandhar, truck numbered of Ga1 Kha5709 from Dhunga-adda to Kalanki, Kathmandu. They complained that they were molested for being members of gay community. They were beaten-up by Pariyar and Manandhar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inspector Sharmila Gurung, Nepal Police \u2013 Balambu, said to Pahichan Online, \u201cWhen the Trans women saw the police van they asked for help and our police team on regular escorting provided them with immediate help. Later, Pariyar and Manandhar were taken into custody.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to her Nepal Police \u2013 Balambu called the abused women several times to further enquire about the assault. \u201cWe enquired about the case with both accused and the accuser together,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sharmila Chaudhary proposed the settlement of dispute with an agreement through pardon.\u00a0\u00a0Both parties came upon an agreement and Pariyar and Manandhar were released under condition that they won\u2019t repeat such assault on any members of LGBT community in the future. According to Nepal Police \u2013 Balambu, they were released after they signed an agreement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIt was sensed that Chaudhary duo were raped since assaulted duo couldn\u2019t be brought into contact till late\u00a0<span data-term=\"goog_540499318\">noon<\/span>,\u201d Gurung said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThere can\u2019t be any case of agreement for the case of rape or an attempt to rape, so it was merely a case of misbehave,\u201d Inspector Gurung told to Pahichan Online. She said, \u201cIf the abused party had registered a FIR we\u2019d have delved into further investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pinky Gurung, President of Blue Diamond Society Nepal, said, \u201cTrans-women should also be provided with equal rights as normal women.\u201d According to Trans-woman Gurung\u2019s post on Facebook an officer abused her saying \u2018Night Queen\u2019 and she said, \u201cIt is clear what Trans-women are facing problems similar to normal women.
