Berry was the deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Nepal from 2007-2009.<\/p>\n<p>Berry was most recently a deputy assistant secretary in the State Department\u2019s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRandy Berry is a career senior Foreign Service officer with 25 years of experience as a diplomat,\u201d reads Berry\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.state.gov\/r\/pa\/ei\/biog\/240706.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">biography<\/a>\u00a0on the State Department\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>Sunil Babu Pant is the founder of the Blue Diamond Society, a Nepalese LGBTI organization.
