Kathmandu (Pahichan) September 17 – Nitu Pandit has been elected as a chair of Sancharika Samuha, a non-governmental organizational working in the field of media rights, especially focusing on women journalists.<\/p>\n

A 13-member team has been constituted under Pandit\u2019s leadership. Kamal Panthi has been elected as vice-chair, Bimala Tumkhewa as general secretary, Yasodha Adhikari secretary and Shima Sharma has been elected as treasurer.<\/p>\n

Members of Kriti Bhattarai, Pabitra Sunuwar, Rubi Rauniyar, Urbashi Basnyat, Durga Karki, Basanti Bastola, Kabita Thapa and Sanjita Ghikire.\u00a0 Samuha has facilitated four journalists.<\/p>\n

Santa Gahamagar who is working on onlinekhabar has been awarded by Sancharika Equality Award which bags 15 thousand in cash.<\/p>\n
