This will be first census after country adopted federal structure and it is made the policy framework accordingly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Population census would take place in every 10 years. CBS has prepared a directive and has been forwarded to cabinet for the endorsement, according to Director Dhundi Raj Lamichhane. The directives would identify the methods to be adopted for the census.\u00a0 In the earlier census held in 2068, very few members of this community identified themselves as sexual and gender minority.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, it has been not incorporated in the main questionnaire and Lamichhane claimed that it happened due to disagreement of this community.\u00a0 According to him, family members are always reluctant to give details about this community which has created problems to make the record of this community.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He informed that discussions are underway on how to count sexual and gender minority. He informed that there are suggestions from provincial level to make provisions for this community. \u201cI am very positive and we are working a way so that there would not be complaints,\u201d he added.
