Kathmandu (Pahichan) July 23 – In the vacancy form of Public Service Commission, there is a provision of mentioning Others (O) category; however same is not mentioned in the answer sheet which has created confusions among students.\u00a0 Till Monday, 287 people from other gender identity have filled the form. Nearly four lakh people have applied for the job.<\/p>\n
The number could increase as PSC is accepting forms. PSC has shown double standards mentioning male female in answer sheet, students have complained. \u00a0Transgender activist Manila Neupane who appeared in examination for fourth level complained for the lack of such provisions. PSC has not provided as quota but in answer sheet contains only male and female.<\/p>\n
How can we write our gender identity,\u201d Manila said in her Facebook Post.\u00a0 She criticized for not allocating certain quota to this community respecting constitutional provisions. She has not disclosed her identity in answer sheet.<\/p>\n
PSC however has made it clear that such copies will not be cancelled.\u00a0 Devi Prasad Subedi , Information Officer of Commission said results would be published as per gender identity.
