Kathmandu (Pahichan) January 26 – Chairman of Legislation Committee of Parliament Ganga Chaudhary has\u00a0said that homosexual and transgender are being discriminated.\u00a0According to her, there is discrimination in the society as well as in\u00a0their community.\u00a0Speaking to Pahichan Radio program, Chaudhary said she is working to\u00a0formulate laws to address the plights of marginalized community.<\/p>\n
\u201cLaws\u00a0should address the issue of maintaining equality and social justice,\u00a0we have to address this issues at law-making process,\u201d said Chaudhary.\u00a0She is in consultation of Law Ministry regarding laws related to\u00a0gender and sexual minority.<\/p>\n
\u201cHomosexual and transgender are most\u00a0discriminated; there is discrimination within their community. The\u00a0real members of this community are deprived from facilities,\u201d\u00a0Chaudhary said. Chaudhary said she is well informed about this\u00a0community.<\/p>\n
