This is an\u00a0LGBTI\u00a0rights organization in\u00a0Nepal. It was founded in 2001 to advocate to change the existing laws against\u00a0homosexuality,\u00a0and to promote the rights of Nepal&#8217;s marginalized gay, transgender and other sexual minority communities. Its work is focused on promoting the rights of sexual and gender minorities in Nepal. Another contribution to Nepal&#8217;s LGBTQ+ communities is to provide care, counselling, and services to victims of HIV\/AIDS.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Blue Diamond Society aims to educate and assist with the sexual health, human rights, and the well-being of gender and sexual minorities in Nepal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">BDS organization also conducting different programme on LGBTI at college, school and other place so to know about the third gender and LGBTI is very important in this society.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00d8\u00a0 Before knowing about the third gender, we have to know the sex, gender and sexual orientation.\u00a0<strong>Sex <\/strong>refers to physical or physiological differences between males and females, including both primary sex characteristics (the reproductive system) and secondary characteristics such as height and muscularity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00d8\u00a0 <strong>Gender <\/strong>is a term that refers to social or cultural distinctions associated with being male or female.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00d8\u00a0 <strong>Sexual orientation<\/strong>\u00a0refers to a person\u2019s\u00a0emotional and sexual attraction to a particular sex. Sexual orientation is typically divided into four categories:\u00a0<em><strong>heterosexuality<\/strong><\/em><strong>,<\/strong> the attraction to individuals of the opposite sex;\u00a0<em><strong>homosexuality<\/strong><\/em>, the attraction to individuals of one\u2019s own sex;\u00a0<em><strong>bisexuality<\/strong><\/em>, the attraction to individuals of either sex and\u00a0<em>asexuality<\/em>, no attraction to either sex. Heterosexuals and homosexuals may also be referred to informally as \u201cstraight\u201d and \u201cgay,\u201d respectively.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00d8\u00a0 <strong>Third gender<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0third sex\u00a0is a concept in which individuals are categorized, either by themselves or by society, as neither\u00a0man\u00a0nor woman. It also describes a social category present in those societies that recognize three or more\u00a0genders and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI).<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>A<strong>lesbian<\/strong>\u00a0is a female\u00a0homosexual: a female who experiences\u00a0romantic love\u00a0or\u00a0sexual attraction\u00a0to other females.\u00a0 The term\u00a0<em>lesbian<\/em>\u00a0is also used to express\u00a0sexual identity\u00a0or\u00a0sexual behaviour\u00a0regardless of\u00a0sexual orientation, or as an adjective to characterize or associate nouns with female homosexuality or same-sex attraction.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gay <\/strong>is a male homosexual. A male who sexually attracted to someone who is the same sex (male).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bisexuality<\/strong>is\u00a0romantic\u00a0attraction,\u00a0sexual attraction, or\u00a0sexual behaviour\u00a0toward both males and females,\u00a0or romantic or sexual attraction to people of any\u00a0sex\u00a0or\u00a0gender identity this latter aspect is sometimes alternatively termed\u00a0pan sexuality<em>.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Transgender is divided into two trans man and trans women. Trans man A<strong>trans man<\/strong>\u00a0(sometimes\u00a0<strong>trans-man<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>transman<\/strong>) is a\u00a0transgender\u00a0person who was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Assigned_female_at_birth\">assigned female at birth<\/a> but whose\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gender_identity\">gender identity<\/a>\u00a0is that of a man. The label of transgender man is not always interchangeable with that of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Transsexual\">transsexual<\/a>\u00a0man, although the two labels are often used in this way and\u00a0<strong>trans <\/strong><strong>woman<\/strong>\u00a0(sometimes\u00a0<strong>trans-woman<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>transwoman<\/strong>) is a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Transgender\">transgender<\/a>\u00a0person who was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Assigned_male_at_birth\">assigned male at birth<\/a>\u00a0but whose <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gender_identity\">gender identity<\/a>\u00a0is that of a woman. The label of transgender woman is not always interchangeable with that of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Transsexual\">transsexual<\/a>\u00a0woman, although the two labels are often used in this way.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Intersex\u201d<\/strong> is a general term used for a variety of conditions in which a person is born with a reproductive or sexual anatomy that doesn\u2019t seem to fit the typical definitions of female or male. For example, a person might be born appearing to be female on the outside, but having mostly male-typical anatomy on the inside. Or a person may be born with genitals that seem to be in-between the usual male and female types\u2014for example, a girl may be born with a noticeably large clitoris, or lacking a vaginal opening, or a boy may be born with a notably small penis, or with a scrotum that is divided so that it has formed more like labia. Or a person may be born with mosaic genetics, so that some of her cells have XX chromosomes and some of them haveXY.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Those are about on the LGBTI which is very important to know every people.
