Kathmandu (Pahichan) April 2 – Media person Mahabir Bishokarma has said that it is his responsibility to help the members of homosexual and transgender. Bishokarma is a host of Radio program titled Bahakineman at Thaha Sanchar 99.4 . He said that he wanted to accommodate gender and sexual minority in his radio program.<\/p>\n

\"Bahakine<\/a>While running the radio program, he is providing separate telephone numbers to male and female. For the transgender, according to him, he is providing both telephone numbers.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cAs a Dalit member, I am facing discrimination, the members of gender and sexual minority are facing the same situation,\u201d he said adding that members of this community have not approached in the program.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am waiting the time when members of this community call in my radio so that I could talk with them,\u201d said Bisokarma. He suggested members of this community to come out with their identity.<\/p>\n

\u00a0According to him, without making voices strong, it would be difficult to achieve the rights. He is of the view that only mentioning the rights in constitution would not guarantee the implementation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe should formulate laws. But formulating laws are not sufficient. There is a law but I am still facing discrimination,\u201d Bishokarma said. He underlined the need of representation of this community in state mechanisms.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
