Kathmandu (Pahichan) April 16 – Transgender rights activist Sushila Lamal has said that it homosexual and transgender are compelled to tolerate violence against them. Speaking to Pahichan Radio program, Lama said human rights violation from the state have not been stopped.<\/p>\n

\"Sushila<\/a>\u201cWe have a record of a women couple who are in affairs for the long time,\u201d Lama who is also county officer of Sahara project of Blue Diamond Society said, \u201cThey have been compelled to live separately after family and society did not accept them.\u201d\u00a0 Lamal said though new constitution has addressed the issues of LGBTI, they have been denied to live together.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn such cases, many have committed suicide,\u201d said Lama adding that this couple is together. She said that many such couples are facing problems as their human rights have been violated.<\/p>\n

Lama said there is a tendency among police officers that they can do everything for transgender. A complaint has been filed at National Human Rights Committee about the police attack on Roshni Tamang.<\/p>\n

Lama said they are documenting the cases of human rights violation and reporting Hurings which will internationalize the human rights violation cases.\u00a0 In 2015, there were 32 cases of human rights violation of transgender, we have documented them,\u201d said Lama.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
