She was unconscious with a head trauma and was taken to Bellevue Hospital. She died Thursday, police said.<\/p>\n<p>While police told the New York Daily News that\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/new-york\/manhattan\/transgender-woman-dies-found-head-injury-chelsea-article-1.3138764\">they are still investigating\u00a0<\/a>whether or not a crime took place, police sources. No suspects have been identified, but police said her injuries were not from a fall or self-inflicted.
