Kavre (Pahichan) December 4 – Transgender rights activists Bhakti Shah has said that Nepal Student Union (NSU) has not yet incorporated representatives in its organizational structures. In a meeting with Nepali Congress leader Madhu Acharya in Kavre Dhulikhel, Shah asked why NSU is still undecided about is commitment.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u201cThe issue of gender and sexual minority is addressed in your election manifesto. However, it is not reflected in party\u2019s organizational structures,\u201d Shah said adding that though two members were selected in Central Committee, they have not been elected in Central Committee. Shah said members of this community did not receive opportunity in the local, provincial and federal parliament. Shah said though members of this community cast their votes.<\/p>\n

Acharya expressed commitment that he would play role to address issues of this community. \u201dWe do not have the policy of abandoning this community.
