{"id":9317,"date":"2018-01-26T13:38:52","date_gmt":"2018-01-26T07:53:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pahichan.com\/?p=9317"},"modified":"2018-01-26T13:38:52","modified_gmt":"2018-01-26T07:53:52","slug":"eu-court-bars-gay-test-for-asylum-seekers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pahichan.com\/en\/eu-court-bars-gay-test-for-asylum-seekers\/","title":{"rendered":"EU court bars &#8216;gay test&#8217; for asylum seekers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu (Pahichan) January 26 &#8211; Hungarian immigration officials should not have put a Nigerian asylum seeker through psychological tests to determine whether he was telling the truth that he was gay, the EU\u2019s top court ruled on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Effectively barring use of sexual orientation testing as an invasion of \u201cthe most intimate aspects\u201d of life, the Court of Justice found that the unidentified man from Nigeria should not have been pressured into examinations that included drawing a picture of a person in the rain and the Rorschach ink-blot test.<\/p>\n<p>The unnamed man filed a request for refugee status in the Hungarian city of Szeged in April 2015.
