Kathmandu (Pahichan) March 30 – Singer Dhiraj Raj has said that homosexual and transgender themselves must fight for their rights. Rai is of the view that only the struggle can secure their rights. “There is a need of a big and effective campaign to secure the rights of homosexual and transgender.<\/p>\n
I launched the campaign of Budha was born in Nepal. The similar type of campaign is needed in this sector,” Rai said. Rai said members of this community must take a lead of such campaign.<\/p>\n
“We are ready to support such campaign.\u00a0\u00a0You have to fight yourselves to secure rights, others do not give rights. We are just a back force,” said Rai. Rai underlined the need of changing the social attitude towards in this community.\u00a0\u00a0“We have to change the definition of homosexual and transgender, until and unless society understands this issue, change will not come,” Rai added.<\/p>\n
Rai said songs of this community could be made but before that there is a need of sufficient knowledge.
