Kathmandu (Pahichan) February 20 – Angle Lama who bagged the title of Miss Pink Peasant has all set to participate in Miss International Queen which is taking place on March 8, 2019. The international competition will take place in Thailand and Lama who hails from Kavre district is going to represent Nepal there.
Earlier, Lama has won the title of Miss Pink organized by Blue Diamond Society and winner of this contest is eligible to participate in this contest. She is flying there soon.
Earlier, Yani Lama participated in the contest representing third gender women community of Nepal. The facebook page of organizer has highlighted the struggle faced by Lama and she is yearning acceptance, love, respect and equality.
Participants from Malaysia, Myanmar, USA, Mexico, Thailand, Panama, Korea, Philippines, Venezuela, Japan, Brazil, Canada, Ecuador, Vietnam, Indian, Laos, and China among others are attending. The video message of Lama has also been posted in facebook page of organizers.
