Indira Neupane/ Hetauda (Pahichan) June 4 -District Development Committee of Makawanpur has allocated 2, 00000 for undertaking the tasks targeting homosexuals and transgender. The activities related to income sources and awareness campaign will be launched from budget.
The district chapter of Blue Diamond Society has launched street drama, mother’s assembly, school-college, interaction press conference and other income generated programs. Friends Hetauda has demonstrated street dramas in some places.
The street dramas were helpful to the people to understand better about homosexuals and transgender, said Krishna Bahadur Thokar, chairman of Friends Hetauda . According to Thokar, the remaining plan will be gradually implemented.
