A film on homosexual content to be screened in Human Rights Film Festival  

Kathmandu (Pahichan) March 15 – ‘Ma Haina Ma’, a film based on homosexual relation, will be screend in the International Human Rights Film Festival that begins from Thrusday.

Blue Diamond Society, an organizaiton advocating for gender and sexual minoirty, had provided the financial support to produce the film in order to highlight the issues of gender and sexual minority.

The 90-minute long film has been produced by Ilam Dixit. The content of film is forced marraige of homosexual and painful sexual life. 90 film from 38 countries have been selected for the screening in the festival.

A homosexual man marraige a woemn but they can ot beging their sexual life. The male goes to meet his parnter and this brings pain and anxity in the society. The film has illustrated this scenario in the film. There are 11 films from Nepal.
