Balram Chaudhari/Saptari (Pahichan) June 22 – Candle-making vocational training has been organized targeting the members of gender and sexual minority. Program Officer Devnarayan chaudhary said that the training took place first time in five years.
The candle-making training was organized to enhance the vocational skills of LGBTI. This training was organized by Sahayogi Samaj Rajbiraj, Saptari for sexual and gender minorities. The financial support was provided by District coordination committee Saptari under Community Development Program.
The training is starting from 4th Ashard and will conclude on 9th Ashard . The Training is helpful gender and sexual minority as they will get the job after receiving it. It will expand their daily financial life. Before the training, they were unaware on how to build a candle.
There are 40 participants in the training program. The participants also expected additional training saying that it would help to enhance their skills. This is taken as income generation training for LGBTI community. Participants expressed happiness for porividng training and they are excited.
