Kathmandu (Pahichan) July 2 – Singer and Actor Shyam Rana has said that not only the political sector, musical and art sectors shod also put the issue of gender and sexual minority in priority. Rana said as members of this community are the creations of society, there should not be discrimination against them.
He said society should accept this community without any discrimination. Rana is of the view that for the social prestige, there should not be discrimination to this community. Rana has already sang a song regarding the rights of gender and sexual minority.
He said as earlier song was only related to one season, he is trying to sing songs which will be suitable for all seasons. “I am seen several members of gender and sexual minority. Some have disclosed their identities while others have not disclosed their identity,” said Rana. He urged the members of this community to disclose their identity.
