Kathmandu (Pahichan) October 3 – Actor Bikram Shah has said that homosexual and transgender should not be taken as weak creatures. Speaking to Pahichan, he said that homosexual and transgender are equal to male and female, and they should get the opportunity to be treated with respect.
He informed that two members of this community took part in the Dohori program and their performance was very good. He said that members of this community should not be presented as mock character in the film. He said members of this community can server as main character and there is no need of presenting them as mock character.
Shah is of the view that members of this community should not feel hurt from any songs. He requested to come out with their identity and show their talent and strength. He is preparing to release two folk songs very soon.
