Bal Ram Chaudhari/Morang (Pahichan) January 16 – Blue Diamond Society Morgan Chapter organized a stakeholder meeting in Biratnagar to discuss the issues related to gender and sexual minority. Muskan Shrestha, program officer at BDS Biratnagar welcomed the participants.
Welcoming the participants, she said LGBTI community is facing double stigma: being member of LGBTI community and suffering from PLHIV. She said it is the challenge to remove this double stigma. ” LGBTI community are in high risks in comparison to other groups, ” she said.
Addressing the program Mrs Sushil Righal Presedent of Morang HIV/AIDS network he said how we can help your community we do that.What kind of future plans we make for this community. Where this community needs help we are ready to help he said.
Jay Devkota ccc member he said where we have to keep your issues we keep there. We keep these issues in ccc meeting also.
