Kathmandu (Pahichan) March 3 – Members of sexual and gender minority have celebrated Holi festival with fanfare. In comparison to normal times, such festival offers an opportunity to disclose their identity. Homosexual, transgender, inter-sex people celebrated festival like male and female.
Members of this community have posted colorful photos of celebration of Holi. BDS invites members of this community in Gaijatra festival.
Chairman of Blue Diamond Society Pinky Gurung said though the rights of this community are mentioned in constitution, there has not been implementation which has brought several problems. BDS is raising the voices of this community.
