Kathmandu (Pahichan) March 14 – Cine Director Ghanashyam Lamichhane has said that new film could be made accommodating the voices of transgender and homosexual. He, however, said there is a need of profound research on this topic before making film.
He said the issues of this community could be a new issue in Nepal. “If a film is made after the intensive study, this film could be taken at international arena. Now, I have a very little knowledge about this community,” said Lamichhane.
He said all human beings are equal and no one is big or small on the basis of birth. “There is discrimination to this community due to the lack of proper understanding,” said Lamichhane.
He said it could be lack of knowledge writers and directors are projecting this community in a negative way. He said he has not projected this community in a negative light. Film Panchebaja directed by Lamicchane was release few days ago.
