Kathmandu/Pahichan March 26 – Blue Diamond Society is an NGO working on HIV & AIDS Prevention and Human Rights since 2001 AD in more than 31 districts of Nepal for LGBTI Community. It seeks qualified candidates for following positions:

1. Position: Asst. Admin. & Finance Officer – 4 (Sarlahi, Routahat, Bara & Kanchanpur districts)

Required Qualification, Skills and Experience:

Under the guidance of District Project Coordinator and Central Team, AAFO will be responsible to maintain the account books of the project, keep all staff records, prepare Vouchers and Payment Slips, Payroll Sheet, ensure that all invoices/Bills and Receipts are conform to Nepal Tax Laws while at the same time fulfill the criteria of the Donor’s Requirements, prepare timely Financial Reports, maintain Inventory Records of the Project Assets..

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Management with specialized in Accounts/Finance subjects.
• At least 2 years of previous work experience working with NGOs/INGOs
• Good knowledge of Nepal’s Tax Laws and Regulation
• Familiar with MS-Office Package
• Fluent in Nepali and English languages

2. Position: Lab Assistant – 12  (Morang, Sunsari, Siraha, Mahottari, Routahat, Makwanpur, Kathmandu,      Bhaktapur,  Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Bardiya & Kanchanpur districts)

Required Qualification, Skills and Experience:

Under the guidance of District Project Coordinator, Lab Assistant will be responsible to provide motivational support to related target groups to access HIV Testing services from the community, perform  HIV Testing through the right method and appropriate way/as per Community Based Testing (CBT) Guideline/Algorithm, maintain the record of testing materials in the Inventory and maintain HIV Daily Testing Registers and work in close cooperation with Project Team in a responsible way, while actively promoting Community Based HIV Testing.

• Lab Assistant Course from recognized Institution/University.
• Relevant valid Council Certificate from Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC)
• At least 1 year of practical work experience in HIV Testing/on general medical laboratory
• Ability to organize mass and individual /counseling activities to sensitize the target groups
