Rupandehi (Pahichan) January 23 – Sexual and Gender Minority and locals of Majgawa Maryadapur have reached an agreement of not to repeat the mistakes in coming days.
According to Anik Rana, Chairman of Rupandehi Chapter of Blue Diamond Society (BDS) said discussions held in District Police Office reached an agreement of not to engage in anti-law activities.
The dispute between this community and police erupted after members of this community were harassed and beaten in a birthday party. Local has taken the responsibility of treatment of third gender Raj Kumar Chaudhary, Kanchi Chaudhary and Pushpa Chaudhary who were severely beaten.
Rana demanded to take action to those people who were involved in beating. Both sides have realized their mistake and they will not repeat the mistake in coming days, said police official Kumud Dhungel. Police had rescued to those people who were beaten by locals. Earlier, BDS local chapter has registered a complaint at police officer demanding to take action those people.
