Kavre (Pahichan) April 25 – Transgender rights activist Sushila Lama has been bereaved. Sushil’s 47 years mother Goma Tamang has died in Eklekhet of Shankhupatichaur Village Development Committee of Kavre District. Tamang’s house was totally destroyed by the last year’s earthquake, and she was living in her parent’s home.
She was suffering from jaundice and other illness. Blue Diamond Society expressed condolence reaching Lama’s residence. Sushila is elder sister in the family.
Sushila has one sister and two daughters. Sushila was born as boy but she is now in woman get up. BDS team expressed pleasure that Lama has been accepted by family stating that it is an example in the society
