Kathmandu (Pahichan) June 9 – Sakuntala, a flim, on which Actor Hajesh Hamal has played the role of transgender has been released in youtube. In the film, Hamal’s role is effective and lively.
He is projected as a social worker in the film and he takes the action to those people who undermine the women in the society.
Stating that law has protected the criminals, Hamal takes law in his hand and kills the criminal. Hamal struggles to punish the rapist. A baby who’s sexual organ was cut turns into Sakuntala didi.
In a revenge, Sakuntala punishes the rapist and the film concludes. This is a first commercial film in Nepal on which main character is transgender.
