Udayapur (Pahichan) July 19 – Blue Diamond Society Udayapur Chapter has formed Ujyalo Bhabisya Society. The BDS branch whic is working in the health and human right issues of this community has formed the committee.
The Commitee led by Shiva Kumar Yadav. Dev Kumar Ram has been elected as Treasurer and Sujit Kumar Mandal as Secretary. The other members of committee are Shiva Nanda Chaudhary, Krishna Dev Yadav, Dukhilal Chaudhary, Bachhalal Chaudhary and Bhikhan Chudhary.
The Committee was formed in presence of Sanjaya Sharma, Deputy Coordinator of Diwa Project. Society will work for the human rights and health related issues.
After the opening of Branch, around four hundred homosexual and transgender have come into contact. They asked to treat the members of this community with a equal footing saying that people are discriminating. They also asked local bodies to allocate budget to them.
