Kathmandu (Pahichan) August 9 – Senior Journalist Dr. Nabaraj Lamsal has said the issues of gender and sexual minority should be accommodated in the media as well as in the literature. As all people are equal, Lamsal said media and literature should provide space to all the voices of society.
The reason behind the underrepresentation of this community, he said, could be the lack of information about this community and reluctant of this community to disclose their identity.
Of late, Lamsal said there is a tendency of creating the literature text within a room which has constrained the issues of this community He said social attitude towards gender and sexual minority is gradually changing. He urged the members of this community to disclose their identity.
