Kathmandu (Pahichan) September 15 – Chairman of Blue Diamond Society Pinky Gurung has said that she used to face pressure for marriage in the young age. Speaking in National Consultative Meeting (NCM) Gurung, however, said that she was unaware about her gender identity and she used to skip such proposal on various pre-texts.
“I did not marry because I thought that I cannot remain happy marrying with girl. We should be courageous,” Gurung said adding that the more pressure she was revealing more exposure.
She remembered that Sunil Babu Pant asked her to join Blue Diamond Society. “Her family came to know about their gender identity after she appeared in the television show in 2062,” said Gurung.
Gurung said family members should lend their support to gender and sexual minority. Gurung said her father has told her to take care of her brothers which have made her stronger.
