Makawanpur (Pahichan) October 8 – Transgender Neha Manandhar has received citizenship mentioning Others (O) category under the gender section. She was approaching District Administration Office since 10 years.
She faced problems in land transaction due to her separate identity and citizenship. As per the Supreme Court verdict, administration has already started to issue citizenship under O category.
The Makawanpur District Administration Office was dilly-dallying to provide citizenship. Earlier, transgender Ajita Bhujel has received citizenship as per the gender identity.
