Rupandehi (Pahichan) October 12 – Social Worker of Sidhartha Municipality Punam Jaiswal has said that she is ready to adopt transgender as her daughter. Jaiswal said that women and transgender are equal to her.
“I do not have daughter. In a program, I got an opportunity to know about a transgender from very close,” said Jaiswal. “I was very impressed by Manila Neupane and I would like to adopt her as children,” said Jaiswal.
Her viewpoint was changed after she met Manila. She said that homosexual and transgender are like male and female. “All people are equal and there is no discrimination.
There is a need of creating awareness among people,” said Jaiswal. Jaiswal expressed her readiness to help gender and sexual minority from her side.
