Raj Chaudhari/Kailali (Pahichan) November 18 – Sandhaya Singh, Chief of office of Women and Children has requested gender and sexual minority not to conceal their identity. The office is located in Dhangadi Sub-metropolitan city.
She said concealing the identity will cause depression. “Transgender are born like male and female. This is not a weakness of parents. It is their weakness who views transgender in a negative way,” said Singh. She said members of gender and sexual minority should not be discriminated in the society.
She said office will accommodate in the annual program. She expressed the commitment of providing vocational training and leadership development training to members of this community. She suggested village assemblies and municipalities to allocated budget for this community.
