Kailali (Pahichan) December 3 – Four members of gender and sexual minority have received the training of make-up and beautician. The program was organized by Hamro Sringgar Ghar Dhangadi. Suren Shrestha of the institution said social viewpoint towards this community is still not positive and they are compelled to face discrimination.
He said all the sections of society should voice their concern and members of this community should be treated with equality.
Members of this community were incorporated in this training with a view that these communities need training to get jobs and other opportunities. Coordinator of Far-western society Raju Lama said that no one has provided such time of training.
He said members of this community are still lagging behind. Karuna Nepal, Sita Subedi and Chalchali Dhamala expressed happiness for getting opportunity to get this training. They said it helps transgender to disclose their identity.
