Kathmandu (Pahichan) March 5 – Literary figure Nilam Karki Niharika has said that she will write on the issues related to sexual and gender minority. She is thinking about to produce something about this community.
“I have included this community in my list. However, I am not sure about the time-frame of writing. It requires a lot of research and study,” she said. She informed that her son is preparing to write a novel on the issues related to gender and sexual minority.
“I have told him to write about this community and he has already prepared questionnaire to write novel,” she said. She said society is not fully aware about this community so that this issue has not been accommodated in film.
He further added that there is not proper environment for this community to disclose their identity. Last week she unveiled a new book Yogmaya. She is currently living in USA and busy in literary creation.
