Rupandehi (Pahichan) March 7 – Budha Television has provided journalist identify card to transgender women Aanik Rana. The television provided her the identity card saying that she is playing a positive role in the fight against homosexual, gay transgender and Inter-Sex .
Speaking to Pahichan, Rana said she is felt happy to receive identity card and it has become with more responsibility. Out of four television in Rupandehi, Budha television and Rupandehi FM is providing space on the theory of inclusion.
Rana said media must provide space to this community and there is a need of representation of this community in Federation of Nepalese Journalist and there must be representation in Ministry of Information and Communication.
