Bipana Paneru/Kaski (Pahichan) March 12 – Three-day strategic training provided to sexual and gender minority by Blue Diamond Society in Pokhara has been concluded. The training was focused on how to prepare institutional strategic policy to secure more support.
BDS which is working for the welfare of gender and sexual minority organized such strategic training.
According to program Officer Apekshya Dahal program was organized targeting CBOs working in the district with a purpose of seeking changing programs.
CBOs were suggested to prepare institutional strategy and planning targeting to this community.
Participants were informed that Save the Children is providing institutional support CBOs and there is a need of institutional strategic plan to secure more support.
Transgender Rupesh Thapa Magar said he receivied citizenship on the basis of his gender identity. He said journalists are writing positive stories about this community. Participants presented their institutional reports in the program.
