Kathmandu (Pahichan) March 21 – The humanoid robot to receive citizenship certificate Robot Sophia has said that she is informed about the sexual and gender minority. Sophia, who is similar to women, said she is more or less aware about this community.
Speaking at a program organized by UNDP and Nepal Government, Sophia made a public speech, Asked about LGBTI she spelled about Lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender and inter-sex. Replying a question, Sophia said she has a little bit knowledge about this community. Enquired about this community Robot Sophia said, “Lesbian, Gay, bisexual and transgender.”
Created by Hanson Robotics founder David Hanson, Sophia’s AI is based on a foundation of three humanistic traits – creativity, empathy and compassion.
Her face is designed to look like actor Audrey Hepburn, with a skin-like surface covering the robotics in her head.
To make her appear as human as possible, Hanson gave her the ability to express different emotions. Her eyes also change colour in response to lighting. There is an impression that she could answer all things. But, it is not a reality, she did not provide any analytical answer.
