Kathmandu (Pahichan) April 10 – On the occasion of International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, Miss Pink competition will be organized in Kathmandu. Blue Diamond Society is going to organize program on May 17, with a purpose of enhancing the capacity of transgender.
Executive Director of BDS Manisha Dhakal said such program would be helpful to prevent HIV infection to this community and create awareness about this community.
According to Bisoraj Adhikari, who won the title of Mr. Gay Handsome, weekly program will be celebrated organizing various programs. Dhakal informed that Drama Jiudo Aakash which is about the issues of gender and sexual minority.
Members of House of Representatives, members of Provincial Assemblies, government officials and human rights activists will participate in the program. BDS is organizing various programs on May 17.
