Kathmandu (Pahichan) April 13 – The names of players for the futsal competition of sexual and gender minority community have been selected. The National Sports Council in coordination with Blue Diamond Society is going to organize futsal competition. For the competition, 63 players from gender and sexual minority have been selected.
Earlier, a team of BDS was entrusted to select the name of teams and players. The competition is taking place in Kathamndu on Bhaishak 7 and 8 in Kathmandu. The winner team will get fifty thousand cash while second team will get twenty thousand along with certificates and medal.
Council will provide other logistics required for the players. Council has allocated one million to organize the competition. Earlier, 2012, Blue Diamond Society had organized a sport festival of sexual and gender minority. The players who participated in earlier competition are also participating in this competition. This is the first time that sports council at the government level is taking place.
